SirSync allows you to schedule Push and Pull deployments for a future date and time. Instead of synchronizing content immediately, you can create one or more scheduled jobs that will automatically run at the specified time.
Scheduled deployments are ideal for publishing content outside of business hours, coordinating website launches, or planning updates days or weeks in advance.
Creating a Scheduled Deployment
Scheduling a deployment only takes a few moments.
- Open the page, post, product, or other supported content you want to synchronize.
- Open the SirSync deployment panel.
- Select the desired action:
- Push to Remote – Deploy the current content to the connected website.
- Pull from Remote – Retrieve the content from the connected website.
- Choose the desired Date & Time.
- Click Schedule Job.
SirSync will create a scheduled deployment that automatically runs at the selected date and time.
Viewing Scheduled Jobs
Every scheduled deployment appears in the Scheduled Jobs section of the deployment panel.
For each scheduled job, SirSync displays:
- The deployment action (Push or Pull)
- The remaining time until execution
- The scheduled execution time
This allows you to quickly review upcoming deployments without leaving the editor.
Canceling a Scheduled Deployment
If a deployment is no longer needed:
- Locate the scheduled job in the Scheduled Jobs list.
- Click Cancel.
- The scheduled deployment will be removed and will not run.
Canceling a scheduled deployment does not modify any content on either website.
Multiple Scheduled Jobs
SirSync supports multiple scheduled deployments for the same piece of content.
For example, you might:
- Schedule a Push to Remote next week after content approval.
- Schedule another Push later after additional revisions.
- Schedule a Pull from Remote to retrieve future changes from another website.
Each scheduled deployment is tracked independently and can be canceled individually.
